alpha omega comment
I revieved the alpha omega car seat and got this comment:

items: I love this car seat. I bought it for my at the time 1 year old, we got into a car accident and her car seat didn't budge. She was the only one that wasn't hurt. We had to replace her carseat because it was in an accident, we of course bought this carseat again. Then we had another baby - and bought the same car seat for her.

items: Not sure which Omega seat this lady had, but not the same one as mine. My son has been in his Omega for over 3 years, and I would buy another one if I had another child!
I agree that it wouldn't be good for an infant; no support & too large. My sone was a year old when we bought our Omega, and it's been great from day one. We've made multiple trips of 1500+miles and my son has traveled marvelously on each trip.
The only negative aspect I've found with the Omega is the issue with the straps twisting. You do have to stay on top of that to avoid frustration. I starch them each time I wash the straps/seat cover, and that seems to help.
We resently started using it as a booster -- looking forward to several more years of easy use from this one!
